This privacy policy sets out how the Primary Care Development Centre (PCDC) uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website. We collect the following information:

• Name, job role and any associated workplace.
• Email address and phone number.
• Postal addresses of employers and other organisations we liaise with.
• Demographic information such as age, gender, ethnicity (with the option to refuse to supply this information).

What we do with this information

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

• For internal record keeping.
• To notify you periodically of new training or development opportunities that may be of interest to you.
• (If you are the line manager of individuals accessing training) for authorisation and billing purposes.
• Age, gender and ethnicity is only collected for funding organisations (e.g. CCGs or Health Education England) when they have subsidised a course and require it for equality and diversity monitoring purposes. We do nothing with that data ourselves and if you only apply for unsubsidised courses then that information will not be used.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How we use cookies

By applying for a subsidised course place you are giving permission for us to share your demographic and organisation details, but not your email address, with the subsidising organisation.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email or write to us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
